NACOPRW-SoCal Scholarships

Saturday, May 30, 2009 "De Mujer a Mujercita" 6th Annual Mentorship Event for Young Latinas Fullerton, CA NACOPRW-SoCal awarded three one-time scholarships of $500 each to female students with Puerto Rican heritage enrolled in 6 semester units or 8 quarter units or more at an accredited college or university. The students have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 and are residents in Soutern California. The scholarship recipients are pursuing associate degrees in Art and Interdisciplinary Studies at Fullerton College; a masters degree in Architecture at the Southern California Institute of Architecture and a doctorate in Bioengineering at the University of California in Riverside. Saturday, November 10, 2007 NACOPRW’s 34th Annual Convention Leading and Advancing through Mentorship and Networking Doubletree Hotel, Orange, CA. NACOPRW-SoCal sponsored 10 young Latinas and their mothers to lunch and a learning experience as participants of the "De Mujer a Mujercita" Mentorship Event during NACOPRW's Annual Convention. The scholarship consisted of $500. |
